I majored in English and Reading and graduated from the University of Minnesota's College of Education in 1983.   After graduation I went to Kenya, Africa with the Peace Corps to teach English. When I returned a year later, I obtained my first teaching job in Carey, Idaho teaching English and Reading. Three years later found me in Winnemucca, Nevada teaching English and Drama. Subsequently I met my husband at a church picnic and was married one year later. I also had the opportunity to coach our Odyssey of the mind team to a second place finish and attend the Nevada Writer's Project in Reno, Nevada. My next move was to Halfway, Oregon where I eventually was hired here in Cambridge as the Title I teacher. Since then I have obtained my certification as a K-12 Librarian and continue to teach Title I Reading, 7Th / 8Th English, Literacy and ISAT Reading and Language.   In my spare time I love to read and take an occasional outing with the students.         Classes taught Favorite Links High School~ Independent Study Literacy ISAT Language ISAT Reading Literacy Junior High~ 7-8 English Reading Elementary~ Title I Easy Bib IDLA Plato Teacher Tube SciFan Free Play Music Plagiarism Checker Grammar Loudit © 2007-2011 ~ Cambridge School District #432 Cambridge Jr./Sr. High School Office:208-257-3311 P.O.
