U. S. Capitol Christmas Tree

Idaho had the priviledge of providing the 2016 U. S. Capitol Christmas Tree. The tree was harvested near McCall’s Little Ski Hill and traveled through Cambridge. Cambridge Elementary Students traveled by bus to Council to view the tree where it stopped.

The tree continued on a journey south through Boise and then west across Idaho and other states to Washington D. C. to stand decorated for the Christmas season.

A U. S. Forest Service Forester gave a presentation about the tree and talked with the students.
